Detail of the Silver Tower in The Hague
The Zilveren Toren is an office building on the Prinses Beatrixlaan in The Hague. It was designed by architects Oyevaar, Stolle, van Gool and was built in 1968. It is one of the striking representatives of modern architecture in the Beatrixkwartier in The Hague. The building is used by MN Services, one of the largest pension providers in the Netherlands. The photo is taken obliquely from the side, creating a nice perspective effect. The white lines get closer to each other towards the top right. Due to the oblique angle, the windows are almost invisible and the emphasis is on the triangles at the bottom of the silver band. I converted the photo to black and white with Nik Collection Silver Efex Pro.
